This year for my son's birthday I had everything planned, I was going to make a cake shaped like a banana, it was going to be easy! Then he saw Toy Story 3 and now everything is BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ!
So...

Step 1: Outline Buzz

Step 2: Block in the color like an animation still

Step 3: Peek! Then realize that you didn't actually need to do a practice run and hope that it will keep in the freezer for a week. Also wish you had waited til you had proper butter as making icing with spreadable butter means it is a bit smooshy at room temperature...

This is how it turned out in the end. Not too bad, though it got put on a bit wonky and my blue icing got too warm and wouldn't flow right. I should have popped it in the fridge and tried again but I was tired and fed up so just left it.
